Discover Anglesey and the local area around White Beach
An undiscovered gem it is just over an hour away, but a world apart, from Liverpool and Manchester, barely three hours by the rail link from London.
Sport and leisure pursuits are available all year round - golf, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, swimming, fishing and birdwatching are just some of the many attractions available to residents and holidaymakers on this unique and beautiful island.
White Beach is a secluded stony cove at the end of a winding lane a few minutes from the village of Llangoed.
Access to the beach is from the top of the cliffs down a gentle path, and the footpaths around the cliff tops provide sensational views and stunning birdlife and wild flowers.
Over one third of The Island of Anglesey is set in Area’s Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB) and is the largest in Wales. There are only 49 ANOB’s in the whole of England, Northern Ireland and Wales. With over 200km of coastline ranging from the sandy beaches, which are surfers paradises, on the West to quieter sandy beaches or pebble coves on the East. For peace of mind, over 15 of the beaches are award winning.
