A really wonderful way to spend our honeymoon. Fantastic views day & night, really peaceful and everything we needed to rest and relax and recharge ourselves ready for married life. The Windmill is a fabulous place to stay on holiday. Great fun up and down the spiral staircase (don’t forget to bring everything that you need or it’s back down and up again). Really enjoyed my first visit to Wales as did my wife’s parents. Weather as bad as Glasgow and just as beautiful when the sun shines. Thanks, P.S. Champagne nice touch thanks.

Excellent accommodation, very unique and five star - will hopefully be back soon and have already recommended the Windmill to lots. Children enjoyed this experience, especially a visit to South Stacks to see puffins, razorbills and thousands of birds. Great touches which made a truly wonderful holiday – 4 days not long enough! The Windmill was fantastic holiday accommodation, we loved the hot tub! We can recommend Newborough forest and the walk along the beach to the old lighthouse. Portmeirion was a lovely day out, as was Moelfre and Lligwy Bay. Sarah’s Deli in Beaumaris is superb, as is Hooton’s farm shop. The OS map for the area was missing when we arrived and unfortunately not replaced during our stay, that aside it was a holiday to remember and we will definitely return. Thanks Julian,

A wonderful holiday – far too short a stay!! Picture postcard perfect, views of the sea, windmill and surrounding countryside are stunning. 5 star stay. Really friendly welcome and loved the extra touches such as the coffee and champagne. Had a great time even when it rained as The Windmill is so homely. We had a wonderful holiday, and we look forward to coming back. Suggestions to make it even more perfect; a footstool upstairs in lounge, a wastepaper basket in the bedroom, slightly softer pillows, a better ice cube tray (silicon ones are great!). Thanks

I don’t believe it! A fantastic place like this and no proper visitors book for guests to record their views, recommendations and a diary of their holiday. We’ve stayed at some fantastic properties over the years around Wales, Felin Wynt is now in our Top Three, a real novelty and privilege to witness such craftsmanship, with quality products and equipment, making it a truly Five Star Luxury property.

The Spa Hot Tub was just out of this world, a real sensual experience especially late at night under the stars, with the bubbles turned off, just listening to the owls before bed. The garden is fantastic and well maintained (thanks Kevin) and a pleasure to sit in.

An amazing filing system enabled us to find/work everything! Great attention to detail throughout with some love finishing touches (-more bubbles?...so very generous, thank you.) Best views on the island, particularly mesmerising at sunset. Lovely, couldn’t have been better. (Positioning of the bathroom mirror slightly bizarre!)

What a beautiful, “different” place to stay – we have enjoyed every minute, and I’m sure we are fitter after tackling the steps!! Agree about history and restoration details – it would make such interesting reading. The hot tub has been great – even in the rain, and the Mill is certainly well appointed for its visitors. Fantastic week; eventually summer turned up, no rain all week. Great fun in the hot tub eased all aches and pains after walking uphill. When reading other people’s comments, we felt that the one about the ‘history of The Windmill’ and all about its renovation would be a very interesting read. Glen’s dream of staying in a windmill were fulfilled “to the utmost”. Time and effort and lots of love have put into the restoration of the Windmill. Location and views stunning. Definitely return visit to be had. Can’t wait to bring the children this Christmas. We’ve had a wonderful time. Everything deserves a 5 star rating! FANTASTIC.
