White Beach Holiday through the Seasons
Both the Cottage and the Windmill have full central heating throughout (usually we are asked how to turn it down), so there is never any danger of our visitors being cold or in a draught. The Cottage has log fires (fuel supplied) for a fantastic cosy warm atmosphere, and the Windmill's heating means that on the top floor looking out for miles over the ocean and the snowy mountain ranges is magnificent. The Hot Tubs in both properties are fantastic on a crisp cold evening as they are so warm (40 deg C)!
Both the Windmill and Cottage are surrounded by acres of beautiful landscape (many of them owned by us). In Spring time, typically 30 lambs are born on our farm (White Beach Farm next to the Cottage), and families are welcome to be shown round. Anglesey enjoys a prime position warmed by the Gulf Stream and our Spring is one of the earliest in the British Isles. The established garden at the Cottage is beautiful in the Spring with fresh growth and new buds on the plants, and an evening hot tub with a quiet drink overlooking the fields is not to be missed! Imagine a lovely Spring time walk along the cliffs and returning to your holiday home for a relaxing meal.
Magnificent sunny summer days, views stretching for miles and lush green countryside make holidays in the Cottage and Windmill so special. The peace and tranquility of our land and countryside are second to none, backed up with a wide variety of sites and places to explore on Anglesey for family activities. Bespoke personalised training for sea kayaking, mountain climbing and other activities can be arranged on request (an additional charge applies). Minutes away is White Beach Cove (just a short walk down the lane), why not while away some time reading by the sea, or paddling in the waves?
One of our favourite times of year, a stunning transition between Summer and Winter on Anglesey. Beautiful golden foliage on the trees, and some lovely walks through the fields and paths in the morning sun or twilight sunsets. The Cottage and Windmill are both stunning locations for a fantastic break and watch nature unwind into Winter. Crucially, the local town of Beaumaris does close down in the winter, and also has a fantastic range of restaurants.
